Open from 8:30am - 3:15pm.
If it is essential for you to attend the front office, we ask that you adhere to social distancing requirements and stand on the marked spaces on the floor.
It is preferred that you make contact either by phoning the school on 4990 1637, emailing to cessnockw-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au or contacting via Seesaw, Facebook or Google Classrooms.

Three gates will be open each morning: the front office on Campbell Street, canteen gate on Alfred Street and the bus gate on Wollombi Road. Parents will not be able to enter the school grounds in the mornings and are asked to either stay in their car or drop their child at the gate and leave. Teachers will be at the gate to support students when they arrive at school.
Three gates will be open each afternoon: the front office on Campbell Street, canteen gate on Alfred Street and the lights gate on Wollombi Road. The bus gate on Wollombi Road will only be accessible for students catching the bus. In the afternoon parents are asked to remain either in their car or wait outside of the school grounds and practice social distancing. If you need to come onto the school grounds to collect your child we ask that you arrive close to the bell time, stay separated from other parents, collect your child and leave the school grounds immediately. Please practice social distancing. Teachers will not be available to talk to parents about their child in the afternoon and we ask that you telephone the school if you wish to talk with your child’s teacher.
We request that you do not drop your child to school before 8.30am and where possible, your child is dropped to school as close to 9am as is practical.
